Insights industry turnover by sector, 2024
ESOMAR's Global Market Research 2025 report put the insights industry at US$153 billion in 2024. Research software was the largest sector at 62 billion and grew 11.5%, ahead of market research services at 56 billion (4.8%) and reporting at 35 billion (8%). The money is moving from buying studies to owning the research tools in house.
