Who we are
We're two founders in Amsterdam building Koji — an AI-native platform that replaces the slowest part of product development: understanding your users. Instead of weeks of scheduling, interviewing, and synthesising, teams get deep qualitative insights in hours.
The product is live. People are using it. We've built the AI interviewer, the analysis engine, the reports. What we haven't built yet is the commercial engine — and that's where you come in.
We're not looking for someone to fill a role. We're looking for someone to own an entire side of the company. If that excites you more than it scares you, keep reading.
Where we're going
Customer research is a $90B+ industry that still runs on manual work. We think that's about to change completely, and we want to be the ones who change it.
Our vision is simple: any team, anywhere, should be able to deeply understand their users without hiring a research agency or waiting weeks for results. We're building the infrastructure for that future.
What we're looking for
You're the person who gets energy from making things happen. You've done outbound before — not managed it, done it. You've built pipeline from zero, closed deals yourself, and you know what it takes to scale a paying customer base.
You should have
- A real network. PMs, Heads of Product, founders, VCs. You know how to get in the room and start conversations that matter.
- Sales instincts. Cold outreach, conferences, DMs, meetups. You enjoy the grind because you know it compounds.
- A track record of closing. Not just generating leads — taking deals from first touch to signature.
- AI fluency is non-negotiable. We run on Claude, but use whatever makes you fastest. The point is you already work with AI daily — not as a curiosity, but as a multiplier.
- An automation mindset. Clay, Apollo, Make, n8n — you build systems that do the work so you can focus on what matters.
- The ability to focus. For the first 12 months, this is hands-on execution. You’re here to build, not to manage.
- Fluent English. Additional languages (Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese) are a strong plus.
Bonus points
- You’ve sold to product, design, or research teams before.
- You have a background in SaaS, MarTech, or research tools.
- You care about how AI will change the way teams make decisions.

After a mutual trial phase, you join as a full co-founder with meaningful equity. The commercial side of Koji becomes yours to shape. We're not hiring a first sales rep — we're looking for a long-term partner.

The first step of your application is a Koji interview. You'll experience the product before you ever talk to us. That should tell you something about what you'd be selling.
How it works
Remote-first, based in Amsterdam. We get together in person when it makes sense. Start ASAP, with a clearly defined trial phase on both sides. Co-founding is basically a marriage — we take that seriously, and we expect you to as well.
