Flowchart
1KA or Koji for course evaluation?

A decision flowchart for university quality and teaching teams choosing between 1KA, a free and open-source questionnaire tool, and Koji AI interviews for course evaluation. It asks whether the form is fixed by a rulebook, whether anyone analyses the open comments and whether you must show what changed. Work through it per programme. If it points to Koji, run a one-term pilot next to the existing form.
What's in this flowchart
Start: Choosing a course evaluation tool
- Is the questionnaire fixed by a rulebook?
- No: go to 2.
- Yes: Keep that form in 1KA. Then decide whether you need more depth on top. Then go to 2.
- Does anyone analyse the open comments?
- Yes: go to 3.
- No: Add Koji interviews. Themes with quotes replace hand coding. Then go to 4.
- Do you have to show what changed?
- Yes: go to 4.
- No: Stay with 1KA. A form tool already does the job.
- Pilot Koji on two or three courses. Run it next to the usual 1KA form for one term.
- Finish: Compare what each tells the director.
