Student feedback evidence checklist for a cross-border QA review

Checklist of six steps to prepare student feedback evidence for a quality review by a foreign agency, from documenting instruments to closing the loop.
A reviewer from another system cannot read your local scores, but they can follow reasons and a documented loop

A six point checklist for quality offices preparing student feedback evidence for an external review by a quality assurance agency from another country. It covers documenting each instrument, showing who answered, reporting reasons as well as scores, tracing each feedback loop and keeping questions the same across sites. Use it alongside the European Standards and Guidelines. Koji's interview reports group student reasons into themes with quotes, which travel well across national contexts.

What's in this checklist

  • Document each instrument: purpose, questions, timing, testing and use
  • Report response rates by programme, year and student group
  • Say what you did about gaps in who answered
  • Show the reasons students gave, not only the scores
  • Map each loop to standard 1.9: issue, decision, who was told, what changed
  • Use the same questions at every site and campus
