How student feedback feeds HAHE accreditation in Greece
From the course questionnaire to the accreditation decision, under Law 4653/2020 and Law 4957/2022
A five-step process showing how student course evaluation in Greek universities moves from anonymous online questionnaires, through the institution's Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP) and departmental review, to assessment by independent experts and accreditation by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE). It is meant for MODIP staff and programme directors preparing for accreditation. Koji can help at the first step by collecting course feedback as short conversations in Greek.
What's in this process
- Students answer course questionnaires: Anonymous online questionnaires, usually run through the university's MODIP information system.
- MODIP compiles the results: Results feed the internal evaluation of each study programme and of the institution.
- Departments review and act: Programme teams discuss the results and decide what to change.
- Expert panel assesses: Independent experts review the internal evaluation against HAHE standards.
- Accreditation and monitoring: HAHE decides on accreditation. Participation and satisfaction are tracked as ongoing indicators.
