What well-run placements, research projects and capstones have in common
The eight features that Kuh and O'Donnell identified in well-run high-impact practices such as internships, undergraduate research and capstone projects. Programme directors and quality teams can use them as evaluation questions, asking students whether a placement or project actually had these qualities instead of counting participation. Koji's conversational interviews can ask about each element mid-placement and follow up on vague answers.
