Kano survey design checklist
Six checks for a Kano Model survey before launch. They cover how many responses each segment needs, how many features to test, how to word the functional and dysfunctional questions, randomizing their order, adding an importance rating and analysing user types separately. Koji can run the question pairs as an AI-moderated interview that asks why after each answer.

What's in this checklist
- At least 30 responses per customer segment
- 15 to 25 features per survey, and never more than 30
- Ask how they would feel, not whether they would use it
- Randomize whether the functional or dysfunctional question comes first
- After each pair, ask how important the feature is on a 1 to 9 scale
- Analyze each user type as its own group
