Question bank
Laddering probes for course feedback

A short bank of laddering probes for course evaluation interviews. It moves a student from a concrete part of the course, to what that part does for them, to why that matters, with two prompts for when someone runs out of answers. Quality and programme teams can use it to keep follow-up questions consistent across interviewers and years. Koji can apply the same probes in every AI-moderated interview.
What's in this question bank
Name the attribute
- What in this course helped your learning most?
- What got in the way of your learning?
- So it is that part specifically? Tell me a bit more.
Find the consequence
- What does that do for you?
- What difference does that make to how you study?
Reach the value
- Why does that matter to you?
- What would you lose if it was not there?
If a student stalls
- So you said it helps you keep up. Is that right?
- That is fine. Shall we look at something else?
