Reference table
What automatic PII redaction removes and keeps
Direct identifiers go, the context your analysis needs stays

A reference table of what automatic PII redaction does to an interview transcript. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses and employers are replaced with labels, while products, job titles, cities and pre-interview form answers stay. Use it to see what still needs a human check before you share research data. In Koji, the Remove personal details setting applies these rules when each interview finishes.
