Process
Price your small business in a week
Six steps from a floor price to a price you have tried with real customers

A six-step plan for a small business owner who needs to set or change a price without a research team. It starts with a floor price, asks about 30 recent customers, runs a short price ladder, reads the reasons behind each answer and ends with a real-money check on new bookings. Koji can run the interviews and the price test, but the steps work with a phone and a notebook.

What's in this process
- Write your floor: Add up what each sale costs and what you need to earn. Test nothing below it.
- Pick recent customers: People who bought in the last 90 days, plus a few who did not come back.
- Send one short ask: A text, email or receipt note with a small thank-you.
- Run the price test: Five to seven prices, evenly spaced around today's price.
- Read the reasons: Group the why answers before you look at the curve.
- Try it for real: Put the new price on new bookings and watch for a month.
