Process
The order to ask five-second test questions
Five questions at most, facts first and feelings last

A five-step order for the questions in a five-second test. Memory of a design fades with every answer, so the questions that need a fresh memory (what people recall, what they think it is) go first and opinions go last. Use it to plan any first-impression test of a landing page, ad, logo or package. Koji can run the questions in this order inside an AI interview, with a timed image view and a follow-up after each answer.

What's in this process
- 1. Free recall: What do you remember? Ask it first, while the memory is freshest.
- 2. What it is: What do you think this offers? Checks whether the main message landed.
- 3. Who it is for: Who do you think it's for? Checks that your audience reads it as theirs.
- 4. Next step: What would you have done next? Tests the call to action without naming it.
- 5. Feeling: One word for the brand, or how it made you feel. Opinions fade slowest, so ask them last.
