Gender bias in teaching evaluations: four field studies compared

A comparison of four widely cited field studies on gender bias in student evaluations of teaching, from the Netherlands, France and Australia. Each row gives the setting, the research design and the main finding, including the co-teaching study from The Hague that compared lecturers within the same course. It is meant for quality, equality and promotions committees weighing how far to rely on teaching scores. Koji's interview-based course evaluations focus on specific teaching practice rather than ranking individual lecturers.
