Key informant competence screen: four questions

Question bank of four competence screen questions for key informant interviews: proximity, role, confidence per topic and scope.
Ask these per topic inside the interview, then weight each answer by what it tells you. Source: After Kumar, Stern and Anderson, Academy of Management Journal, 1993

Four questions that screen a key informant for competence on each topic: how close they were to the decision, what role they played, how confident they are about other teams, and which unit they are answering for. Low scores re-scope an answer rather than discard it. Koji can put these at the top of every interview as structured questions.
