Checklist
Original research report checklist
Eight checks before a research report goes to design

An eight-point checklist for marketing teams publishing an original research report: the question, the sample size per segment, screening, a soft launch, quality checks, a checked quote behind every finding and a method box. Use it as the sign-off list before design starts. It comes from the Cite-Ready Report method in Koji's playbook for running original research as AI-moderated interviews.

What's in this checklist
- One research question your buyers disagree about
- Both possible headlines are worth publishing
- 150 completed interviews, and at least 30 in any segment you report
- Respondents screened for role, with the source of each group noted
- Soft launch read and confusing questions fixed before the full run
- Low-quality interviews left out of every number
- A checked quote behind every finding, with names removed
- A method box: sample, dates, recruitment route and questions
