Share of US adults who say packaging sways what they buy
How packaging design and materials affect purchases and gift choices, from a 2018 Ipsos poll

Results from an Ipsos online poll of 2,002 US adults in April 2018, commissioned by the Paper and Packaging Board. 72% said a product's packaging design often influences their purchase decisions, 67% said the packaging materials do, and 81% said design can affect which gift they choose. Useful for small brands deciding whether a packaging test is worth the time before a print run. Koji can run first-impression tests of a pack with timed image views in AI interviews.
