Question bank
Trustworthiness check for qualitative research

Thirteen questions for checking a qualitative study before you share it, grouped under the four trustworthiness criteria Lincoln and Guba proposed: credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. Researchers and product teams can use it as a pre-publish review or hand it to a peer reviewer. Koji keeps every finding linked to the interview quotes behind it, which helps with the audit trail questions.

- Is the participant context described in detail: roles, behaviors, experience level?
- Are your participant selection criteria written down?
- Have you stated the scope and limits of the findings?
Dependability
- Is your analysis process documented and traceable?
- Could another researcher repeat your process from your notes?
- Did you record method changes and the reasons for them?
