The Teaching Practices Inventory: eight categories
What a 72-item survey asks about a science or maths lecture course

The eight categories of the Teaching Practices Inventory, a 72-item self-report survey by Carl Wieman and Sarah Gilbert for describing teaching in undergraduate science and maths lecture courses. Programme directors and QA staff can use it to see which research-based practices a course or department uses, then check the self-report against observation or student feedback. Koji can collect the student side of the same evidence through course evaluation interviews.
