How to run a first-click test: step by step

1. Define the task scenarios

Write tasks the way real users describe them, not the way internal teams label them. Avoid using the exact word that appears on the button you want them to find — that turns the test into word-matching, not findability.

Aim for 5–8 scenarios per session. Beyond that, attention drops and click data becomes noisy.

2. Choose your stimulus
